Su Mano Amiga is a young charity that received charity status on 10th August 2016 and staged its launch event on the 26th of November 2016. The charity is the brainchild of Maria Linforth-Hall. Maria is of Latin American origin and was born in Ecuador. She is a Councillor in the Borough of Southwark. She holds a unique position of knowledge, authority and trust in London Latin communities.
In 2014 she organised a workshop on the subject of Domestic Violence which generated so much reaction among Latin people that it convinced her of the need for a charity.
That charity is Su Mano Amiga.
